We currently provide commercial insurance products for a wide array of businesses in the greater Tri-Cities area, and we're growing every day. Our customers represent many different types of businesses including contractors, restaurants, professional offices, distributors, manufacturing operations, retail operations, and service operations.

Annual Reviews: Our first responsibility for our clients is to annually review policies currently in force to ensure the correct coverages and classifications are in place to cover business needs. Once the annual checkup is completed, coverages are shopped with our markets in order to provide the most competitive pricing available from the most financially viable company. With access to several local, regional, and national insurance companies, our customers get the best value for their insurance dollars.

Loss Prevention Techniques: Another service provided, in an effort to assist our clients in controlling insurance costs, is loss prevention techniques. Working either on our own or in conjunction with our company's safety engineers or loss control managers, we help our clients identify potential or current loss trends or exposures, then investigate methods to mitigate or eliminate those trends. Loss prevention techniques have proven results in containing insurance costs, and our customers benefit from this service in the amount of premiums they pay.

Proper Industry Evaluation: We are members of SAGE, a division of Silver Plume, who leads the property and casualty industry in providing information on the proper classification of particular risks. Included in this are descriptions of thousands of United States Standard Industrial Classifications (SIC), and all their sub-classification system, to ensure proper premium charges. SAGE also provides public protection class codes, auto symbols, territories, coverage analysis information, brochures, and all forms necessary to get your business insured.

Human Resources and Compliance: Agents at Kerr-Boswell have access to human resource organizations that provide answers to questions involving our business insurance clients and their employees. Items like HIPPA, COBRA, or any other human resource problem that may arise can be researched by us.
